  • My equipment is not working, what do I do now?

     

    If you have a problem with your ultrasound machine, X-ray processor, X-ray generator, BCF Digital Image Management System (PACS), call our team on Tel: +44 (0)1506 460 023.

  • How do I provide remote access to our X-ray equipment to your IT support team?

     

    If your X-ray equipment is linked to broadband then our IT team may be able to gain remote access to help you resolve a problem.

    To request or activate live access, please call our IT support team on +44 (0)1506 460023. They will then ask you to click on the webex logo below.

  • Why should we service our X-ray and ultrasound equipment?

     

    Vets and veterinary practices can create a harsh working environment for ultrasound and X-ray equipment. Equipment can be used by a number of different people, constantly being moved from room to room, or even practice to stable.

    It is important to have your ultrasound and X-ray equipment serviced annually.

    Reduce the chance of breakdown at the worst possible moment

    Prevent small issues becoming expensive ones. The opportunity for us to examine your equipment annually means that we catch any potential major issues early. Saving you money in the long-term.

    Help prolong the working life of your equipment. When was the last time you had your diagnostic imaging equipment serviced?

  • What equipment can BCF service and repair?

     

    At BCF our fully trained specialist engineers are able to look after a wide variety of ultrasound and X-ray equipment.

    We service all BCF own-manufactured equipment such as Easi-Scan, BUGs, Duo-Scan, Ovi-Scan BCF are the official approved veterinary service centres for ultrasound equipment from:

    Zonare Digital X-ray processing equipment from

    Carestream (previously known as Kodak)

    Ecoray (Orange) generators

     

    Whatever the manufacturer or age of the equipment – give us a call and we will see how we can help you.

  • How do I arrange for my equipment to be sent to BCF for service or repair?

     

    If you call us on +44 (0)1506 460 023, we will make all the arrangements for a courier to come and collect your equipment.

    We ask that you suitably package and label the box that you put the equipment into for transport. If your equipment is too large to transport, we will arrange for an engineer to come and visit you.

  • How do I package equipment to be sent to BCF for service or repair?

     

    It is important for you to suitably package your equipment, so it is not damaged whilst being couriered back to the BCF.

    We will arrange the courier to come to you to collect the equipment. This means using a sufficiently strong cardboard box, that you can place material such as bubble wrap around the equipment to prevent any possible damage.

    Please clearly label the box.

    It is very useful if you add a compliment slip or details of your business inside the box, so that we can easily identify your equipment when it arrives with us.

    To speed up your service or repair also please ensure that your equipment has been cleaned before being packaged.

  • Can we arrange loan equipment, whilst ours is being serviced or repaired?

     

    Where possible we do try to provide loan equipment. There may be a small charge for loan equipment.

    You may also wish to consider a monthly payment maintenance contract, which makes it easier to guarantee you loan equipment.
